Twelve years ago, the Denton Animal Support Foundation was founded with the goal of giving more Denton animals a second chance at a happy life. Since that time, DASF programs and initiative have directly saved more than 13,500 pets, in addition to over 5,400 pets saved ever year by the Linda McNatt Animal Care and Adoption Center. Through our Adoption Subsidy Grant Program and Emergency Medical Grants, adoptions have increased, helping animals find heir forever homes. More than 4,600 Denton school children have participated in our interactive DASF Pet Guardianship after-school activities through DISD, and hundreds of pets of homeless, disabled, senior, and low-income owners received food, supplies and vaccines to help keep pets and their families together.
