DASF grants $5,000 to the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection

Denton Animal Support Foundation community outreach focuses on prevention and intervention of overpopulation and abandoned pets with community grants. Thanks to the generosity of our donors during the 2018 North Texas Giving Day Campaign, DASF was able to award a $5,000 grant to TCAP (Texas Coalition for Animal Protection) to provide $20 spay/neuter services for Denton County Residents. Funds raised from North Texas Giving Day are crucial for the following fiscal year - how much support we receive dictates how much support we can offer the Denton Animal Shelter as well as the Denton community. The last time we were able to award TCAP with this type of grant, 148 pets were spayed/neutered, preventing hundreds of unwanted pets and allowing pets to lead healthier lives .

Thank you to our generous donors for joining us in our mission to save more Denton area animals.
