The ASPCA-Rachael Ray $100K Challenge (2012)
In 2012, the Denton Animal Shelter garnered 11,688 online votes to qualify us for the ASPCA-Rachael Ray $100K Challenge. This event was a contest to see which qualifying shelter could adopt out the most animals in a three-month period. DASF sponsored adoption events during this time, leading to record adoptions for the Denton shelter, with 97 dogs and cats finding their forever homes in just five days. Overall, the event led to thousands of adoptions all across the country, and DASF was thrilled to do our part.
